Peggy Collen, Esq.
Peggy showed up in court against me. I was being tried on trumped up and fraudulent charges. She told my past roommate that I was the problem and they could both sue me and the City of New York for a lot of money - but only if he continued to pay her and keep this case going. Fast Forward (yesterday) the judge threw out the case based on it's basis - fiction. She looks harmless - she can be needlessly agressive, lie - (I saw the package she put together against me - fiction) and she has no business in a courtroom searching for justice based on her character and her actions. Be wary and careful of her - she's not the wholesome older widow she appears. I would personally only use someone like this in a last resort when I had plans to leave the country permanently. She acts outside of the law in my case and is dangerous - beware.
So rare to meet a honest lawyer with your best interests in mind. Helped my family avoid eviction and negotiated a great deal for us. Great rates too compared to others. Highly recommended.
Peggy Collen was so helpful and compassionate and she worked very hard to make sure I wasn't evicted due to my support animal. Plus, her fee was reasonable. Thank you very much!
Peggy Collen, Esq is the essence of Animal-Loving tenant advocay. The only thing bigger than her "drive for justice" against evil animal-hating people, is hear unmistakable, unwavering heart for not only all animals, which are "gifts from god", but the people who open up their hearts and alter their lives, all in an effort to shower precious animals with love and care they deserve so much! you definitely want Peggy Collen, Esq on your side!
My consultation with Peggy was invaluable. She saved me thousands of dollars. I came to Peggy with a tricky situation involving HPD complaints and vacating a lease. She was incredibly sympathetic to my situation, reviewed my case, and gave me the information I needed to reach a fair resolution with my landlord. I would definitely contact her again if I ever need the help of a housing court lawyer, and I would recommend her to anyone.
