Angie is unorganized and over extended. When I obtained her services in November of 2024 she informed me she would not be able to file for my divorce until after the holiday. I was mistaken to think she meant Thanksgiving. She did not have them drafted until December 27th after Christmas! When we had a status hearing in May she told me we weren't ready as she didn't know what I wanted. I had clearly communicated my assets division back in February. The final frustration was she subpoenaed the bank to see where all our money went after my husband closed all our joint accounts. Why would you tell your client you had the bank records but not know what they said? She couldn't even tell my husbands lawyer what they said! I ended up going to her office and picking up the records. It took me about 30 seconds to see where the money went. Pick another attorney! Alyson Ryan did more for me in a week than Angelica did in six months!

Stefanie represented me in a plethora of divorce and child custody issues. She was on top of urgent needs when they arose and filed motions promptly. I've read through some of her reviews, and the people saying she is hard to reach really need to understand that she is in court, fighting for other families just as hard as she will fight for you. Angie has represented me all 3x when my ex decided to be a jerk. She’s been upfront & honest about my choices and given great insight for which path would best protect me & my children. Her advice to bring in a guardian ad litem for my kids was spot on so we could get my children what they most needed. She’s thorough but balances that with not wasting time & thus not wasting my money which is much appreciated. This review is specific to Steffanie Kotik. Ms. Kotik is very kind. However, I would recommend seeking a different attorney for child custody cases. As you can see from the photos her accounting practices are way off. She'll send you monthly invoices saying you have X amount of dollars left of your retainer. Then when you terminate her services she will send you a case report that basically doubles the time and fees for everything from the beginning of services and adds things that were not even on the original invoices. She deceives you in thinking you have more money left and when you confront her accounting practices she states the invoices were never accurate. She just wanted you to believe you had money left. Also, she will have you sign affidavits before they are done and not even show them to you before they go to the judge. You can see our email exchange where she finally sent me the affidavit 13 minutes before the hearing and it contained inaccurate information. She also stated she had filed an amended motion that was very important to my case and never actually did until about 6 weeks later. She will charge you for email exchanges but then when having a conversation with you be surprised by what you are telling her even though you've included the information in previous emails. This was a child custody case. Nothing is more important to me than my children. Because of so many missteps along the way I had to seek another attorney and pay for everything again. I strongly recommend seeking someone else who will do things right the first time.
