BEWARE!!! I hired Goldman & Associates Law to help me establish a court order for my parental rights and parenting time. From the start, I trusted my attorney and spent weeks planning our strategy. But when it came time for court everything we had discussed was thrown out the window. My attorney completely changed direction, ignored the game plan, and pushed me into accepting a deal that wasn’t even close to what I wanted or what we prepared for. Other lawyers I’ve consulted since told me that deal was a bad one, and that I should never have been pressured into it. As a 20 year old with no legal background, I trusted my attorney to fight for me instead, I felt like her interests came first, not mine. After the case, my lawyer filed the court order incorrectly. When I discovered their mistake and contacted the firm, they admitted it could only be fixed if I paid them more money to correct their error. On top of that, I was pressured to take down a negative review I had left in exchange for them “fixing their mistake,” and was even told I needed to leave them a 5 star review as part of that deal which is completely unprofessional, unethical, and deceptive, most of their reviews are fake, and they push people into leaving them. Financially, this firm has drained me. The first time around, I was billed about $6,000. Now, for less work, I’ve been charged more than $18,000 and counting and my case still isn’t even over. Worst of all, even though we had an agreement and they promised to finish my case, they broke that promise and dropped me as a client before it was resolved, leaving me stranded and financially hurt. This law firm has shown me they prioritize billing over clients, push bad deals, break promises, and try to silence negative reviews instead of fixing their mistakes. I feel completely scammed, and I would strongly warn anyone considering them to look elsewhere. There are plenty of ethical attorneys who will actually fight for you, keep their word, and see your case through to the end unfortunately this firm is not one of them.
