My wife and I had a custody case that lasted over a year. During that time Sean never truly even learned the names of the children involved in the case. Over 20k later and multiple court dates being delayed so he could go on vacations absolutely nothing has changed. He does a great job of pretending outrage when you kids are being abused or mistreated. He was almost never prepared for court with very little understanding of the situation, going into every court date. During our mediation he was so engrossed in his phone by the time he realized what had transpired the entire time he was confused and surprised when we said mediation was a waste of time. Acting upset how we'd feel that way, confused on the fact we'd been talking to the mediator for hours getting no where. Of course we were charge by the hour. Sean got aggressive and cursed at my wife multiple times after we brought up the concern that he was incapable of following the case or even remembering the kids names or the babysitter that was abusing them, he confused her for their grandmother multiple times. When corrected he'd reply " same difference". His paralegals were the only people that seemed to actually care about more than billable hours. I dont recommend this office for financial reasons and if you care about what ever issue youd bring to this office.

I used Sean Cox for family law. Sean is an amazing attorney who took my case to heart. He definitely is not a puppy who was in the corner just watching. He is fierce and meaningful. He’s a dog with a mean bite. Which is what I needed. Most lawyers now days don’t fight, he fights til he’s blue in the face. He takes cases to heart. And I would hire him again and again. If you communicate with their office, they communicate right back. Secondly, Shayne and Yash are BEYOND amazing staff too. They helped me in many ways as well. Knowledgeable and full of information for all my questions. I genuinely cannot thank them enough. They both deserve a raise. As a fighting father, 6 years into a fight. I highly recommend Sean. Sean Was very knowledgeable and has been extremely helpful throughout our journey. He helped do our mothers estate planning in 2016, and has been there every time we had a question right up to her passing in 2025. He is helping us with the rest of her estate. Thank you Sean.
