⚠️ Warning: Do Not Hire This Firm for Hague Convention Cases I’m writing this review to warn others against hiring attorneys Anthony Joseph and Emily Masters, the owners of this law firm. Anthony Joseph withdrew from my case just before the main federal hearing—after exhausting my entire $20,000 retainer. Why? Because I questioned their billing practices and firmly requested proof for every charge. Despite repeated requests, month after month, they never provided documentation for many of those charges. Here are just a few examples of their concerning billing practices: • Charges for “courtesy copies” I explicitly declined—documents that are freely accessible through the court. • Charges for summary emails after calls, and for calls with third parties I had clearly declined to work with. • Fees billed at a higher rate than what was stated in the contract. When I raised this, their response was simply, “It’s been more than 14 days.” I hadn’t even realized I was being overcharged! • Call durations that significantly differed from my phone records—not just slightly, but by a lot. • Charges for discussions with unrelated third parties, seemingly done just to bill additional hours. Before hiring them, they gave me contact information for supposed past clients. I later discovered that those individuals were not represented by them in a federal Hague trial. That was misleading. At one point, Anthony Joseph admitted he didn’t understand what the judge requested during a status hearing. This left me feeling completely unsupported and even more anxious during an already overwhelming time. Do not give this firm your time, money, or trust. If you’re a parent fighting to protect your child, you deserve a competent and ethical legal team. Keep looking. Don’t settle.

I could sit here and write a book praising this law firm for their hard work and dedication to my case. Every person I have ever spoken to speaks with confidence, and professionalism. Their expert lawyers got me better results than I could’ve imagined. From their knowledge, their communication skills, their accountability, the way they show up and show out. The results speak for themselves. I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

Erin was the court appointed GAL in my case and sided with my abusive narcissistic ex. Luckily, the judge in the case did not listen to her and I was able to retain residential custody of my kids after over two years and tens of thousands of dollars spent. She acted the entire time like she was on the side of me and my kids. Do not trust her. If she cannot see abuse, she is not fit to be a GAL. Beware of her.

To make a long story short, my ex kidnapped, my children from Mexico, when it comes to the Hague convention, there is not a better attorney than Anthony Joseph. Not only did Anthony get my children returned to Mexico he told me he would get my children returned before Christmas, which he did. Anthony’s results were world-class in the sense that he overperformed what he was paid for because I never stepped foot into the courtroom and we won the case on a summary judgment. I am overjoyed with my results with this law firm. If you are in an international child abduction scenario you need to contact Anthony. My ex thought this case was all fun and games until the judge threatened to issue a warrant for her arrest. I told my ex before this case started, my attorney was going to spank this case like a bad child which he did.

I am very grateful to have had the legal services of Erin and Anthony. They are both outstanding attorneys. Although I had more contact with Anthony, I can attest that the two of them made a great team and that they complement each other in a fantastic and very efficient way. And, in addition to having great legal expertise, on a human level they were always very empathetic and considerate of my challenging situation. I will always remember them fondly and will not hesitate to recommend them as attorneys for a Hague Convention case. They helped me defend my rights and those of my children and, because of all their hard work, I was able to get my children back to Colombia so that they could continue to enjoy their father's love, as they always had.
