The Harris Law Firm
UPDATED 5/20 After calling the team to discuss my issues with the firm, they stated they would call me back. It has now been two weeks since that happened. And no one has called me back. THIS FIRM IS NEGLIGENT AT BEST. STAT FAR AWAY AND UNDERSTAND THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. This company is not clear about their clients. They just want a paycheck. After my case was closed my new lawyer found multiple issues with Harris family law firm. Including the failure to file the dissolution of marriage. That document is critical. And my lawyer failed to do so. Lura Rausch is the worst lawyer that you could possibly have and I highly suggest that you find a different law firm because they do not care about their clients. The office manager is no help. She yelled at me, she interrupted me, and she talked over me when I requested multiple times to change lawyers. This is a negligent and fraudulent law firm. Believe the bad reviews.
Eric Limegrover is the best attorney out there! He helped me when my ex wanted more child support and to take more time away from my custody schedule. He helped me better understand the laws and guided me with patience throughout the whole process. I am in the military and he was able to expertly navigate the unique issues that military members face in joint custody situations. I felt heard and understood and represented very well by Eric. Additionally he made me feel protected from my bully of an ex. I could not have gone through this nightmare without him. If you are looking for an attorney, especially in a hostile and contentious divorce/custody situation, I highly recommend Eric Limegrover!
I hired the Harris Law Firm in 2021 for my divorce as it was my only option; my ex had called numerous other firms. I started with a lawyer who apparently didn’t have any correspondence with the other party. He also didn’t have much correspondence with me as he was abruptly unable to represent me with little to no notice (separated from the firm) and I was given another lawyer. This lawyer lasted about two weeks at which point I was told that they wouldn’t be able to represent me either. I then received another lawyer team who I was assured was very capable and experienced. I interacted primarily with the junior lawyer hearing little to nothing from the senior. I’m not sure how difficult a divorce with one house and some children can be but long story short I started my divorce in August of 2021 and have now in 2023 dropped my divorce as it was not concluded and my counsel continued pushing the final hearing date back. I am now paying interest on an $18,000~ separation after I was assured I wouldn’t be paying interest with a payment plan. I may have an atypical experience with this firm but not only would I not recommend them, I will actively recommend people to steer clear.
